Thousands of citizens and tourists come to Krasnodar Park every day. The place is particularly popular with photo and video content creators. Among the local attractions Krasnodar residents will always mention Galitsky Park.
It is Krasnodar's main street, lined with shops, museums, administrative buildings, restaurants and cinemas. On weekends and holidays, part of the street is closed to traffic, making it very pedestrian-friendly. It's particularly fun in the evenings, with dancers, musicians and other artists performing on the street.
During the day, locals recommend walking along Aleksandrovsky Boulevard between Ofitserskaya Street and Budyonny Street, as there are plenty of greenery, shady alleys and flowerbeds. The Krasnodar Zoo is home to many exotic animals: hippos, leopards, giraffes, hyenas, zebras, tigers, armadillos, meerkats and parrots. And this is just a small part of the fauna of this complex. The tropical-style zoo is as close as possible to the natural environment of the animals. There are fish ponds and waterfowl ponds.
A walk through the safari park will be a pleasant experience for the whole family. There are many exotic animals to be seen and some you can also feed.
Among Krasnodar's oldest historic parks, the Chistyakovskaya Grove stands out. It was laid out back in 1900. The park acquired its present appearance in 2008, when it was transformed from a simple grove into a unique recreational area for the city's guests and residents. Colourful flowerbeds, landscaping, colourful paths and areas for recreation, sport and entertainment are now available. Parents with young children can visit the rope park, amusement rides and the Aurora summer cinema.
Ocean Park is one of Krasnodar's most popular venues and one of the largest oceanariums in Russia. Covering an area of 3 000 m², it features 25 aquariums with inhabitants of the Red, Mediterranean and Black Seas. Some of the underwater world comes from the North Atlantic and the freshwater tropics.
Ocean Park helps you explore the life of many underwater species. Experienced guides give daily guided tours and fun facts about marine life.
Although the cable-stayed bridge over the Kuban River floodplain looks modest, it is considered a symbol of love by local newlyweds. After the registry office, newlyweds usually come to the bridge to hang a lock on it, throw the key into the water and kiss. This ritual is believed to keep married life happy. In the evenings, the kissing bridge is a great place to take a walk. Nearby, there's Victory Park and a public garden.
The Botanical Gardens are decorated with colourful flowers and lush vegetation. So a walk around the Botanical Gardens will lift your spirits and give you an escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.
In the Krasnodar Botanical Garden, you can admire thousands of specimens of flora from different regions of the world. For example, the indoor pavilion is home to exotic heat-loving plants. In addition, you can feed squirrels in the park - they are not afraid of people and accept food from your hand. Visiting the botanical garden is free for all.
It is a light and music complex located on Theatre Square. At night, it decorates the city and delights those around it with coloured water jets to the soundtrack. During the day the fountain is not working and you can walk around in peace. On Christmas Day, there's a fair on Theatre Square.
The organ, chamber, choral and symphonic concerts are held in the heart of the city. The excellent acoustics of the hall allow visitors to enjoy their favourite compositions to the full. The only unique organ in the city is used here, which was built by German masters in 1994.

The Bogarsukovs' mansion houses a famous museum collection. It dates back to 1879 when the scientist E. D. The resort town of Goryachy Klyuch is only 50 km from Krasnodar. You can therefore reach it in an hour.
